i'm really going mad with podopediatrics. i need a minimum of 10 recent journal articles and the most recent one I found is dated 1995 :( there are other easier topics of podopaeds to do but i think i am already wired into finding out the difference between tibial torsion and genicular position and the workings of it that my soul will never rest if i don't have a satisfactory answer. its like a cross between a treasure hunt and a riddle, only that it is now a quest thats taking on epic lord of the rings proportions. oh bother.

because of that i am stressed and i have already scraped the bottom of the 2 litre unbelievablygoodsuperduperkickHagendaz'sass bulla's choc chip icecream viv bought a few days ago! oh my oh my. i sworn off icecream ever since zy left ade for the simple fact that they make the lovehandlers (also named the lulu) as thick as my anatomy textbook. now i am in it again. an icrecream addiction is no better than a heroin addiction, both are bad for the health and the wallet, are equally addictive and have terrible withdrawal symptoms. i just can't stop!!! quitting icecream is definitely NOT for the weak minded me. i succumb to every temptation available in the whole world.

BUT, Oprah says that its not that we are weak minded, we r just suffering from brain damage. Drugs like heroin a addiction causes dopamine neuronal pathway to transmit excessive pleasurable stimulus to the prefrontal cortex and it overrides the decision making pathway to the cortex as well. sooo that means icecream gives me brain damage ok! i only started to appreciate all the neuroscience i have to study despite being a 'foot fairy' when there was an episode on brain damage and drug addiction on the Oprah. but still!! neuroscience and feet? i do not see any ostentatious links between them.

anw pardon the rant. shir came ytd!! i had a spare ricecooker for her to pack rice for lunch and we exchanged food. she brought me some fried shitake mushrooms and i gave her daokee soup. she brought a bunny which she was godmother to it because she paid 5bucks for it and the mother of it paid 10bucks. but i forgot the cute bunny name. din take more pics because javier was waiting outside with his car engine still roaring.

and my housemates and i made some curry puffs last wk! yummm.

the lady in pink is mummy lycia! shes v nice to vivian and me and teaches us to make heaps of good food, curry puffs is just one of the many many.







that aside, zy shared with me some wise experience which was conveyed to him by his fren's elder sister quite some time ago and i thought it was pretty sound advice

'those guys in uni who are very sporty outgoing good looking ones, those who are very popular with girls. you will see, when everyone graduates, normally during class outings and whatnot you will seldom see them, and when you see them you realise they are not as good looking as they used to be, and not as popular anymore. its those geeky nerdy nice nice boys who are not so popular with girls in uni who tend to be more popular with girls after entering into the working force, because they are more successful'

so there, wisdom from someone older, which i think we all need sometimes. heh.
