this is actually a post long ago but due to failure of uploading pics i decide to lump all the pics tgt. so mayb the entry wun make sense. Its got pics of my sch, my classmates my clinic and some other random stuff
***
apart from that it has the 1970s office building look, my campus is pretty damn good. take for example we have free aerobics classes, 2000page print quota when every other uni has 200 on average, heated examination halls(those guys in adelaide uni wore gloves to write their exam scripts), search for a book online and request it and walaaa its right in front of you the next day, free lunch every now and then, free candy floss every now and then and free condoms and tampons and free escort service right to ur door step after 8pm. you can never be too greedy.

i am loving some lessons now. we learnt how to take blood pressure manually and we get to measure our body fat composition and my elective next year is ballroom dancing. woohoo. but i just went for one lesson of ballroom dancing today and i feel like i have two left feet. and there's one indian newbie there was well with us and he was my partner for most of the dances. so he din like the fact that i have two left feet and he tsk me when i did it wrong. and swung me so hard in the other direction and tsk me 4other separate times and scold me 2 times for not getting it right and in his exact words 'no you are doing it all wrong, the way you do it is so ugly' argh.

just realised you guys never seen my school before, which is although a office building, its a nice office building.

this is just our free lunch, and some of us goofing around in practical class

jane and yiwei/jane, and she's really pretty/me taking bp, yiwei looking really sian cos its the 101th time i tried taking and her hand was turning blue from all those squeezing/me and huiyii and her bf doing medicine in russia how cool is that

Free hotdogs and fairy candy floss make us very happy girls

heaps of mustard that's the way/the candy floss is bigger than kim's head/chiangwei and yiwei

not the mention that the weather's beautiful this few days but the wind is really big and nearly blew our candy floss away.

here's the steamboat we had a few days back. one good thing about living in the city, although it is freaking expensive, is that we can always take a stroll down our favourite city botanic gardens after meals.

steamboat galore/rice cooker can be used when u r really desperate/nice/botanic gardens

not much pics because as usual we r gorgin ourselves and the botanic gardens din have many pictures too because the cam went out of battery.

school pictures.

school/me and vivian/aussie company/school/me and kim/way in to lib/me and chiangwei/girls/me and vivian on the bus

it was a thursday when i took these pictures. thursdays in adelaide means shopping day in suburb areas, where shops are on till 9pm. fridays in adelaide are then shopping days for the city areas. other than that, shops close at 5pm. on this thursday, we went to modbury, a suburb where they have this relatively huge shopping centre, but we reckon taka is bigger

see, these obahn buses run on tracks like mrt trains. nice!

us in clinic. i think we look more like lab technicians. but seriously the white coats does instill a little more confidence from our patients in us. but with or without, actually we know nuts. and today in clinic i feel machiam manicurist. cut nails file them then apply moisturiser on the patient's skin. nothing medical about the patient being a podiatrist in australia can be quite boring because these people have knowledge on how to manage their feet. so they just let you cut nails as they can't reach them. i still like those yucky ones back in singapore. and something i learnt in clinic today is if an australian can live past the age of 50, there is a 50% chance that they can live past 90. wao. ancient. which reminds me of the few times i had in a old folks home here in adelaide where i fed a 104 yr old vietnam old lady lunch. she even sang me a song after she finish eating.

me and kim/me and chiangwei

today there's another patient who was with us for like an hour plus because we had no other patients and chiangwei wanted to really cut her nails well. so this 84yr old patient told us how she came from Scotland to live in Adelaide in 1956. She took a ship here, and was on the ocean and went thru the cape cod in south africa instead of the Sueis canal(is that how u spell it) because due to political reasons the canal was closed. which brought me back to the history we learnt in sec2. i am amazed how i could still remember those shipping routes, like how singapore benefited from the cape cod and how bad it will be if the sueis canal was functional.

she said the ship went past the equator and there was a 'passing the equator' ceremony where there was a whole pail of melted vanilla ice cream and a big paintbrush, and the kids were painted with the icecream. in 1956! so nice! but i forgot to ask her whether they licked it off each other or not because haha that sounds kinky to me.

and this are some pictures during biomechanical practical. the absurdity of it, but i had fun. this was my artwork on kimberly's foot.

spring flowers! so my block of townhouses have those creeping plants and they have lines for them to crawl up. i think it looks like an explosion of flowers. but this is not located on my balcony, its on someone's else, so couldn't really take closeups on the explosion.

this was the closest i can get. so the explosion of flowers consist of small daisy looking flowers like this

the flowers over at my balcony was not bad as well. purple ones. and with flowers come the bees. my housemate got stung by one wahaha

its nice having those just hanging out your balcony minus the bees and the pollen.

and the white cherry blossoms. there's a little green leaves on it, which i don't know why. i reckon its global warming where one instant its cold and one instant its gone all hot so the cherry blossom tree abit confused

and mummy, this is what i cooked last saturday. be proud of me! i gouqian ok, meaning i made the starchy paste for the stir fry veggie. and it was world class muahaha

veggie/lemon baked fish/drumstick soup/a balanced meal :)

and this is the knnbccb clothes rack which i painstakingly brought all the way from singapore which fell a million times which i taped a million times but finally falling into pieces and i bought a more solid one here myself well done.

i actually did it from scratch

to this. but i think my clothes mayb too heavy for it so it kept on slanting to one side and then collapsing all the way. and there were no screws involved in the whole rack so if they had to collapse i have to use hell lot of strength to turn them back in which is no fun and painful and depressing if you have been doing it for 10times at least

eventually it broke and i got a new one. the new one looks like the old one but i learnt my lesson and i took out 5kg of clothes so it din crash

i still have some more pictures to go but i am too tired to upload all of them. till later then.
