in hope of trying to motivate lazy people, -coughs kq shir coughs-, i have been blogging on a regular basis. what the hell happened to the pact of keeping me updated rawr. it goes two ways you know and i really blog regularly about my life, nevermind that it shall bore you guys to death you better update your blog.

to continue w my injured ankle, it was too painful to even walk today so i called the person from the temple, mr wong who was supposed to drive me there that i wun be meeting them. then he ask me why so i told him about my ankle and muahaha guess what he is a sinseh! yippieyay. i was never that glad to know a sinseh. so i agreed to limp my way to the meeting place, albeit the lousy weather which is really lousy when there rain and wind and the damn wind blow spoil my umbrella. my nice pink umbrella boohoohoo. i think i look ridiculous and i even give a helpless yelp when my umbrella fly up and i was all drenched and it was freaking cold and freaking cold means 10 degrees. if it is still winter now i can take the weather just fine cold and wet so be it, but since now is supposed to be spring, then give me some signs it is spring i cannot take it when winter signs come up when its spring i have lower threshold tolerance.

anw ya mr wong made my ankle much better so the rain and the wind and everything was worth it. i truly regret my actions of exercising before full recovery till the point that i was ashamed to tell mr wong what i was studying in uni. i say i was doing physiotherapy. now my ankle smells of very strong medicated oil but i am very glad of it. i guess i was cured both physically and mentally.

i love sinsehs.

in order to redeem myself as a good podiatry student, i shall now give tips on how to select good footwear.
1) it is recommended to try on shoes in midday because its when the feet are the biggest so you wun feel that the shoes are too tight
2) always take note of the toe depth of the shoe, whether your toes feel squashed after wearing because it can result in bruised nails in the long run
3) walk around the shop for at least 50m and get someone to notice your stance to see that the shoes are not affecting the way you walk
4) wear BOTH shoes and walk
5) some shoes have inner seams. avoid those to prevent callus buildup
6) laced up shoes are always better because it prevents the toes from gripping onto the shoe, which can result in hammer toes in the long run
7) have 3cm of heel counter, not 3inches.
8) leather as the material of the shoe itself is good, but it sucks as a material for the sole or heel counter
9) ensure that the shoes has enough toe width so the toes will not be squeezed tgt which can result in v deformed feet when you grow old. trust me it is v deformed.
10) always rem you can have many many pairs of shoes but you only have one pair of legs!

and i practise this myself. i have a pair of absolutely fashion revolting hush puppies shoes, which can be noticed on the pictures in the victor harbour trip but they are the most comfortable pair of shoes. very podiatric wise. heh.

ok enough of crap. i need to zoom back to my *&^*%F&$ research report.
