my housemate had her graduation this weekend and there were a series of celebrations. My roomie and i din manage to go to her graduation ceremony to see her wear her cute robe because we had lessons.

in the night we had a traditional szechuan steamboat, because my housemate is from szechuan. its freaking spicy but it was really fantastic to have it in a cold autumn night. there were about 10 guests and its really a wrong illusion that my house is big. its really just enough for 5 of us. so we took everything out and had the steamboat in the garage. we even had to borrow chairs from neighbours because there's only 5 chairs in my house :P

dipping dip dip/yiwen, yanping and me/frozen tofu which is super nice which is we shall try next time when i go back/yummy egg

now i know how to make authentic szechuan hotpot, we shall have a steamboat galore when i go back! theres food we will never consider putting into the pot like wintermelon, frozen tofu and beef stomach or something like that, which all taste delicious!

we went for kbox later, which i was really forced to go due to diplomatic reasons. they drank like bulls. it took them 4 dozens of beer and 2 bottles of chivas to realise that they should really be heading back home. they puke like merlions and i have to risk being driven home by someone who's drunk. oh man i am really living on the edge. *rolls eyes* i shall never ever go to this type of sessions again unless it is life threatening

anyway i had my dissection induction lesson last week as well. it is really confronting to see buckets of hands and legs compared to human anatomy lessons where we see dissected materials only, meaning that we usually focus on the muscles and stuff like tht. we had to do dissection ourselves so its like the whole intact hand with nails and skin and all. there's even one hand with nail polish! its so gross.

while i was wondering whether the hand will just turn alive and walk like the hand in the addams family, there's this dentistry guy who walked past holding a head with the brains leaking out, which is hmmm pretty interesting if i din see him holding a tool of some sort trying to whack something out from the brain.

now i i feel its freezing even though its only 13 degrees. i shall just be frozen to death when winter comes. i am losing sensation of my toes already. maybe i can dissect my own toes next time when they drop off due to frost bite. eew
