hee just taking a little break from my studying. mid sem tests ain't no joke. after tml's tests i will be free from school for 2 weeks for easter. oh scrap that away. sch will still be bugging me with anatomy exam and 3 assignments due after easter, including a dissection project, 2500 word essay and some podiatric assignment which i have no idea what it is talking about. i mean, what the hell is onychomycotic nails or microvasclar svpft?!?!the weather ain't helping much. its increasing the bed's magnetic force to me everyday and i just keep on snoozing my phone. with a 13 degree DAY weather, 11 in the night, i really dread june's winter. the wind is big enough to blow my scalp away from my head den i will go screaming and run after my scalp and putting it back on my head. haha the thought of it is ridiculous. but one day the relentless wind just might do that.
there's the disappointment of not being able to join kendo for this semester because i missed the induction lessons, which lead me to do some other drastic stuff to do other stuff besides studying and gorging myself to death. i decided to start another reading fever. well i am those that love to have a book on bed to read before sleeping. I have to recommend Paulo Coelho and Jodi Picolt's books. but i only bought one and i feel so book deprived in Aus! I haven got time to visit the state library yet though, so i am reading the same book over and over again. You guys know what to send me next time ya? hee.
so guess what, i borrowed China history books to read from my school library. But its not about the san guo yan yi part though, its more on the end of the imperial china and commmunism stuff and tian an men. Well you could say that chinese are stubborn or stupid, but you can nv doubt their unity and their faith. do you know that they formed a human wall in tiananmen to fend the army tanks that were coming towards them. its like till death do them and their ideals apart because even though they got squashed to death by the tanks they were still very gungho. i am impressed. i also realised how little history i studied in sec sch. its really interesting.
i heard my fren say there's this book called The Little Red Book(it rhymes!) which is banned in singapore because of its proliferation of communist ideas or something like that. I am going to see if i can find it. Who knows i might become a communist after reading it and be like my godfather who wears this gold Mao Zedong necklace religionly. hmmm. den i will hide in jungle and be guerilla and wait for lee kuan yew to catch me den i will cry father cry mother and tell him i am going to be a podiatrist therefore being very useful to the democratic society of Singapore he's going to let me off and continue my studies of podiatry which includes bloody anatomy and physiology.
speaking of bloody anatomy, do you know that the specimens today were more fresh than those i used to handle and i am disgusted to find that it smells really bad. Den Belle ask me to breathe in deep and i will discover that the bad smell actually smells alot like LA JIONG. You know those chinese wax sausages they sell often during chinese new yr, which i like calling it the la jiong. It really smells so lajiong-ish. Miraculously it made me less disgusted with my specimen because it was of la jiong smell, but it also made me wonder whether i will ever eat la jiong again.
sorry for the incoherent ranting cos i just need to let off some steam and go back to work again.
Oh Sun my lover where art thou i am freezing.
