my school has alrdy officially commenced. i rather enjoyed the anatomy classes so far. i believe those who have seen those real human specimens will know the exhilaration of finally coming into contact with them, because you are finally armed with the answer to the question, is human meat red meat or white meat. a cross section of the human thigh seriously reminds me of lamb chop yum yum yum.

there hasn't been much activities this few weeks because everyone is busy with the starting of school. if anyone tells you that angmohs are lazy and studying in aus will be a breeze because they are so stupid, dun believe them. most of the time i am more muthu-ed by those anatomy big terms, and all the angmohs go hmm ya yes and fire questions which makes me more muthu-ed.

anyway last week was more of like a birthday celebration week for my roommate. in this horrid place with no decent chinese food, the best celebration is to actually try to cook decent chinese food. I am very proud to announce to all that my cooking skills have improved exponentially, -from a egg-canned food-maggi mee person, i now have a few hat tricks like bak kut teh, fishball soup, fish porridge, vermicelli, tomyam soup, steam egg, steam fish and fried rice.

then this singaporean ex housemate, peiyun, part of our trio came to stay overnight in our room. we had a gossipy night. it reminds me of those stayovers, esp the last sleepover at kq's..ahh..pictionary!! but anyway, the next day we invited one of the other singaporean scholar doing podiatry as well, kimberly and the four of us became stuff pigs.

ok so the roast chicken we played cheat there and got it from woolworths, a supermarket here. but there was pork with spring onions, eggs with cai poh, steam fish,egg vermicelli, brocolli with baby corns and my signature bak kut teh. its really quite a spread for four chinese girls who hasn't seen a spread for so long. pls dun think that we are mountain tortoises. my sis broke my fragile little heart when i proudly told her i cook six dishes, and she was like 'ok so what?' boohoohoo

after washing up and a little chat,Ken scoots us off to his house for another celebration. *burps*

Abel, one of the guys in our clique took a hospitality diploma before so he cooked carbonara for us. the miraculous part is, the carbonara isn't gerlard(is that how u spell it). i have to ask him how to cook nice cream pasta so that i can show off till siao when i go back hee hee hee.

Oooh on a last note, have you girls heard of the summer sale? *whoops in delight* i bought two fond hugs sorta skirts for $6 each and a pair of pants only $7 and 3 blouses costing 5 bucks each.whee. its in this gorgeous place called harbour town. i alrdy memorise the routes there *wink wink*
