Oh its been long since I update. Actually I have got nothing much to update about since everyday is about tuition. Today was sort of like a study session with 6 of my sec4 tutees, which 2 failed to turn up. Well, I did not manage to do alot of coaching, because Kaiqi and I were shopping in the vicinity for like 2 hours.

Kaiqi is my favourite shopping khaki although I may not agree with her shopping methods. She would NV buy anything on the day she sees the item, and have to wait for 1 night to broil it through before going back again to get it. It is a smart way of shopping, although I cannot stand it, because it is so wishy washy. I am never like that. I will almost always get the eyed item unless I am seriously financially restrained. First reason being, I am always threatened by the salesperson that the item is the last piece. Secondly, I cannot be bothered to ponder about the pros and cons of buying the item over the night. Thirdly, I do not have the EQ to restrain myself. ARGH I am the perfect consumer. Dumb and impulsive.

We always spend long afternoons and evenings scouring for the best offers. We can spend 1 hour in Bata, having the time of our lives trying on shoes, being very entertained. We are both Bata converts now. Ya I know, we are THE cheapo aunties.

Today, we went crazy over Abercrombie and Hollister stuff. We bought a whole stash of stuff costing alot of money, but it was all worth it. Totally contented. Thinking back, WHY DID I GET 3 ABERCROMBIE JACKETS? 2 which I noticed now, kinda have the same design? Oh man, I guess I was too high by seeing so many pretty hollister and abercrombie stuff that I got possessed by some pontianiak. hmmm, lets do some counting. I have like 4 pull overs and 3 zipups jackets, not counting Old Navy sports jacket still on its way from US. I actually planned to get a Esprit blazer as well. I guess that have to wait like 5 million years later.

As October ends, lets do a stock take of what I spent in sinful october

1) One pair of wedges
2) 2 bikini sets(which I am never going to wear anyway)
3) Black frilly top
4) butterfly tote
5) le coq sportif sling bag
6) Red leather tote
7) White ballet flats
8) 3 abercrombie sweaters
9) 1 abercrombie tee
10) 1 hollister tee
11) Red Earth's duo blush
12)Red Earth nail polish & lip gloss package
13) Haircut
14) Sculpting Gel
15) Purple Retro Earrings
16) Nivea Toner
17) Banana Boat Tanning Lotion
18) Kaiqi's present
19) Euphoria's ticket and cab fare

That completely nullifies what I saved during August and September!!

Ok Wenyan, take a deep breath. Think positive.

*thinking hard*

Well, I helped save $2.5K today, because I managed to restrain myself getting the Samsung laptop, which I thought was totally worth it. I will get it in Dec instead. Ooh yes, I saved another $395, because I am going to stop myself by all means to get the same digicam as Kaiqi. 6 megapixels with 512 memory card costing only $395?! I want one too!! Megapixels till lausai. I am going to tie myself up on Sunday, the day when Kaiqi returns to Sim Lim Square to get that freaking worthy digicam. I am so jealous. I HATE KAIQI FOR BEING ABLE TO GET 6 MEGAPIXELS FOR $395!!!

Taking a stock take does propel me back to the real world. I am back in reality where I need to save a ton of money for my oh-most-important education.

I wonder. The world seems like sheer heaven when I buy things, but the world look so bleak, in different shades of grey when I check my bank account. Shopping is indeed a woman's bane. Why am I on this crazy emotional rollercoaster, being deliriously happy when I tried on the Hollister, feeling so shitty down as I calculated how much I spent?

Strangle me with the NPCC rope used to be tied to the wall during orientation.
