Last saturday, I went cycling with my cousins in Pulau Ubin. It is my first time there. We were freaking excited and behaved like sua ku tourists, only that we wore till more lok kok.

We were looking for people to take photos for the three of us. The first time, this lady pressed another button and told us she took the picture. We were peering excitedly in the playback and only saw the previous photo taken. We still had to pretend she really took it because she was looking hopefully at us.

We decided to take pictures ourselves.

We gave up and waited excitedly for the boat, while helping one another take photos.

Onboard the bumboat, we asked this guy from India to take photo for the three of us. I passed him the camera with the lens facing him, and he did not turn the lens towards us. Instead, he wanted to take the picture with the camera facing him. It was pretty obvious he did not know how to use the camera. We were totally tickled by this fact and were sniggering madly to ourselves. We tried to regain our composure and took this peekture below.

The boat trip was ok. But there are sea cockroaches onboard too. There's this cockroach that were right below one indian tourist's seat, and Xinyi, being kind, wanted to point out to him. She stick out her long index finger and pointed in the direction to his ahem and he kept on checking his ahem for any abnormality. He was rather flustered until we finally told him what's bothering us. Quite funny.

Hmmm, so what did we do in Pulau Ubin? Ok, we cycled on flat routes and cycled on slopes, and cycled on unmade roads. Yes, ya, we cycled.

Its really tough to go uphill, though we really tried our best. Initally we were rather enthusiastic and tried to beat every uphill. As our strength diminishes, we could not bother anyone sniggering at our lousy stamina. We just pushed our bikes along.

Before we left, we took all our courage to ask another person to help us take a group photo. Voila! Its niceee

Haha. I actually got addicted doing collages, that's why there are so many photos in this entry. Another reason being I am a big tortoise stashed up in Redhill. I am bound to be excited about my first trip to P.Ubin, hence the extensive number of photos that does not carry much meaning. Heck!

Let's go cycling some other day as well C9! The coconuts and the thrill of going down the slopes is definitely worth going back for!
