This is my first successful sunny side up after my 19 years of life..So pretty!!!

Of course..it was after 4 failed attempts.

The one on the left actually is not bad too..but if u examine it closely,the egg whites are actually not very well cooked.I leave that one for my sis..wahahaa..I think she's got no tongue,cos she can't taste what's wrong with it.

The other 3,not because I can't fry them well.Its because I couldn't cracked them properly.For the first 3 eggs,you can hear my wails and see my desperate flailing of flabby arms cos my egg yolks were dispersed.

I know many people like sunny side ups because they can taste the runny egg yolk.Personally,I like to experience the sensation of penetrating thru the invisible membrane then increasing the force of penetration until the silky bright orange liquid oozes out onto the snowy white rice.The rice will then be sticky and taste super delicious with an eggy taste..Nice nice nice!

There's another way of eating which i think it is revolting.They like to finish all the egg white and rice first,and save the egg yolk for the grand finale.They will then slowly scoop up the yolk gently,look at it lovingly before putting the whole yolk inside their mouth.After that,they will then use their upper mouth wall and squeeze the yolk gently,teasing the runny liquid out before they suck the runny liquid out.While sucking out the liquid,they will give a super satisfying expression and lets out a gratifying sigh.I am able to give a full account of this because I always seen Monika and Eunice do this to their eggs during lunch breaks!!Exactly like what i described!!I complained to them that they are disgusting me,and asked them why they do it like this.Monik gives me this answer

Juice?!Did she say JUICE??! She sounds like some bloodthirsty predator to me.

Suck out the liquid and drink it like it is?Isn't that disgusting?Might as well take the whole raw egg and drink it..like those professional wrestler downing a couple of raw eggs before going boxing.

Or are you like my dad,who likes to eat throughly cooked egg yolks.Cooked until so hard that when you throw down my house can hit the army guys camping below for the National day celebration @ yishun.

He say runny egg yolks look like concentrated urine,you know,the urine you can get first thing in the morning if you din drink much water.I am so disgusted.I was happily spreading my yolk all over the rice while he commented on that.Aiya,when he old no teeth to eat those hard hard yolks he will appreciate runny eggs.

I still remember the days in JC2 when there's bird flu then got ban on eggs.Even though that time one egg 60 cents,we will still buy it.The auntie will put a notice there saying how much one egg cost per day.There's like for a week we do not have any eggs at all for lunch.Very tongku.That was the time where we realise that we cannot take eggs for granted

Eggs are also hard to come by.Do you know that every hen can only lay one egg a day?
But some farmers want higher efficiency,so they actually try to trick the hens and their biological bodies.They use lights to create 3 dusks and dawns.So that they lay 3 eggs a day.Poor hens!!Already they are cooped up there,deprived of sexual and physical activity.They are still kena cheated!!

So we must cherish every egg and try to cook them as pretty as possible,like this one
