Today's Monika checking in the the posh posh looking Prince Georges Park Residences! The exterior is really very nice.We were too intent in looking for the block as well as exploring the place that we forgot to take pictures..oh man..cannot show u people the posh PGPR.I shall do it tomorrow because I am going tmr as well to help her clean up the place.Eunice and Trudi also came along. So Monik got a transponder, something which you can beep to take the lift and open the door.I think we were too excited until we were behaving stupidly. The door actually beeped after we used the transponder and we tried to push it open.We were fiddling with the door for like 5 minutes but it won't budge. We even pondered about calling the admin for help. After using much strength to try to push it open,Monika suddenly had a brainstorm and tried to pull the door instead. It opened miraculously.Heng ar,nv call the office ask for help!We thanked our lucky stars as there was no one around to withness our stupidity.
The place is cosy but airy at the same time.It is 9 square metre only but it is rather dusty and drabby. But i liked the windows as well as the pin-up board. We slacked there for awhile while Monik is checking the maintenance of stuff.Everything is ok except that there are some stains and cracks on the walls.
We decided to shop at Ikea for some furniture then. Our main aim was to add some colours to the white room.Monik bought a red cushion,a red rug and a bright blue dustbin. Her table lamp is also very cute!Shall upload the pictures next time.

Ytd i slept at an ungodly time of 3plus am because I was researching on net for my australia's hostel.Well,it is more expensive than i expected.the normal rates would be like $250-$280 per WK.yes per WEEK.But 3 meals are provided, personal computer is provided with unlimited internet connection for some.there's gym, ballroom, lounge, tennis courts..stuff like that la.Like condo like tht one.Lemme show you some pictures!

In South Australia, what i gather from ytd's research is that the uni itself does not have hostels, unlike in Singapore. So there are residential colleges like Aquinas College featured above which are located very near school.
This is another residential college I am considering--St Mark's!

Looks cool right. The thing I am most satisfied with St Marks is this
!The Archibald Grenfell-Price Dining Hall!
Doesn't it look like the dining hall in Hogwarts?!wahahaha.notice the students are all wearing dining robes--a tradition to be withheld..OOOhhh..so cool!!!
But all this residential colleges are very expensive, amounting easily to $1.2K per month. But basically everything is provided there,so I actually do not need to spend that much on other stuff..hmm..still considering. My mum prefers this type of residential colleges as they provide meals.I can't cook a decent meal to save my life...ya...hai~~
If it is that expensive,I reckon I have to save up more.I cannot spend without keeping trck of my finances anymore.I am really a spendthrift!!I think I can kiss my dream of owning a car there goodbye at the rate I am going..
The thought of only having $300 a month to spend on other stuff is quite scary. But my mum likes the idea that I am going there as a poor scholar so as to experience life's hardship(meaning I will not spend money on nice things like clothes and cosmetics)..OK,since she say like tht,I am fine with it.It only hints that she will not give me any extra money. But even if I want to experience hardship,I shall experience it in Singapore. From now on,no more nice meals for me.I shall work doubly hard and secure more tuition assignments. This would ensure that I have some spare cash there.
WENYAN U MUZ PERSERVERE!!!
