i juz watched the channel U show,about teenagers commiting suicide because of failed bgrs.Well,i'm going to put my two cents worth..disregarding my leaking nose and dripping eyes(having a fever)"you hua kuai shuo,com'on shoot!"
ok i scored a b4 for my gp,so dun expect chim entries from me.i'm quite sore about it already.
i'm ashamed to admit,but i do have suicidal thoughts after going through my first breakup.Obviously i survived through it,thanks to people who loved me and has been there for me ever since this hard fall.They told me some stuff,those that i have already wrote in the personal blog,but nonetheless i shall repeat because it really helped!
I compact them into 10 reasons,as their pep talk was like a few hours and few million words long.
1) Your love is not only for one person,so u shouldn't die for only 1 person.
2) Dying for that person is a terribly ungrateful act,because you cried for him/her more than u would cry for your parents,who love you more than anything.Shame on you.
3) Love for the opposite sex is only a part of your life.
4) People will only say that you are stupid to die for a failed relationship,NO ONE will say that you are weida.That only happen in movies.(you surely do not want to die as a stupid person)
5) We are not isolated bodies in the universe,what we do affects other people.For all you know,because of your death,a cure for cancer cannot be found.
6) By looking for the easy way out,you are pushing the hurt to other people who loved you.And they will have to live it through their lives.The hurt you feel from a broken relationship is nothing compared to what they had to go through all their lives.
7) Ending your life is a very cowardly act,as you do not have the courage to live through it.Do not die as a mollycoddle.
8) Wake up and smell the flowers.There are much more wonderful things in the world!
9) Failure in anything is part of life.Without failure,you can never experience the sweetness of success.Without a failed relationship,you will never cherish the next one coming along.Live on and see what life has in stall for you!
10) For pantang people,if you commit suicide you will go to Hell and burn.No prayers will save you.
Some advice here were also stated in the channel U programme.I believe it is something every rational being have in the back of their mind.I think it is the weakness and desperation he felt,not willing to undergo any pain anymore in his heart that he let his life go so easily.If he had known how heartbroken his mother was,I bet you all the money in my bank account that he will not do it.
It is kinda ironic,because he is weak enough to succumb to the pain he feels,yet he is strong enough to face death.So does it mean that,the pain in his heart was worse than death?How the hell does he know what death means to him,what death means to people who loves him?It is not like in computer game can restart one leh.Remember what i said earlier,if you commit suicide you are not allowed to reincarnate..you will burn in hell.It is also impossible to die for awhile to revive after you feel less of that pain.I tried that before.When my aunt died,i kept calling out for her where she lay in the coffin.I thought she just sleep for awhile because she's tired,but no lor.I call and call,we call and call,she never wake up also(but wake up le also very scary la).The feeling is damn scary,you feel so hopeless.When there's death,how can you ever feel the hope?Makes sense right?
Time heals everything.It too,will pass.Time allows us to meet new people,try new stuff and feels us up with hope and love.Why choose death when time can do the same,and allow us to enjoy life?You can earn money to go spa go facial,dye hair do manicure pedicure,go shopping,flirt with people,earn money to buy your dream home,learn the music instrument,work hard get promotions,go scuba diving,go backpacking to the ends of the world..so many!They will only happen if you have hope!When Pandora's box opened,the only good thing left to salavge the situation was Hope right?
There's hope when you live on.Love yourself,love people who loves you!!
